Hello and a very warm welcome to our new Web Site. We are a voluntary service and we depend on you to help us in our on going work. At present we are in the process of becoming a registered charity. So, if you find this site interesting or educational please make a donation to us. All funds are put towards the birds for their medical or nutritional needs. About 2Wit 2Woo 2Wit 2Woo is situated in the rural Scottish countryside near Huntly in Aberdeenshire. We have been rescuing birds for over 12 years and have been displaying our specially trained birds for over 7 years to help with funding. We offer a safe and stable environment for many birds-of-prey. Our aim is to aid in their rehabilitation before releasing them back into the wild or to provide a safe haven for them to live out their days should they not be fit to be released. We have a close working relationship with the Police, D.E.F.R.A., Raptor Rescue, Vets and other official bodies.
2Wit 2Woo was formally established in 1995, but our founder Jeff has been involved in bird welfare & rescue since he was a young lad of 12. He started with rescuing pigeons and has never looked back. The volunteers at 2Wit 2Woo have many years of experience, specializing in every type of bird from birds-of-prey to pigeons and from siskins to crows. We have also rescued dogs, cats, lizards and various other animals. If possible we do not turn anything away, if we can help in some way with the re-homing or care for the creature concerned. We do not claim to be experts or vets. If we can help in any way, we will, and of course we always seek the proper veterinary expertise and advice as necessary. 2Wit 2Woo are also recognized breeders and on occasion some of our pairs mate and have young... We rear them and train them to work in our displays or pass them over to other bird-of prey centres for theirs.
From time to time we have birds for rehoming and are always looking for safe and friendly environments for them if you think you can help please contact us. Our Goal We at 2Wit 2Woo believe the public should be made aware of the plight and beauty of our declining wild life population, especially our birds-of-prey. We hope our displays go a little way to demonstrate our core purpose.
